Verb:
call
MTC:
call
Syntax:
call [number|pathname]
Function:
The call verb allows a manual call to be placed directly
to a number or an existing path.
Instructions:
If the call verb is used with a number, BCC attempts to
make a Nautica call to the remote unit on those routers
that support the Nautica protocol. If the Nautica protocol
is not supported on any of the routers (for example if
they are all Nautica 200s) then a PPP call is made.
If the call verb is used with a pathname, the call is of the
type specified by the path.
Example:
In the following examples, a call is made to a number
and also along a path:
box# call 01234789034
box# call baycenter
The following modifiers can be used with the call verb,
they are entered before the number:
For example to make a 56kb call to a number:
box# call #01234789034
