Function:
Enabling Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)
allows the router to act as a DHCP server. The router can
then pass configuration information, such as permanent
and temporary IP addresses, to unconfigured units.
DHCP is explained in more detail in Chapter 1. To
set-up this router as a DHCP server, enable this
parameter and refer to Chapter 13.

Enable this parameter if you want this router to act as a
DHCP server.

Enabling this option allows the router to forward
BOOTP Relay requests to the server specified in the
bootp-relay-server
parameter. Enabling this parameter
means you must set up the
bootp-relay-server
parameter.

Enable this parameter if BootP needs to run across this
router.
