1 Pump shaft

Prepare the new replacement bearing.
Important
The stop ring has a specific installation
orientation.
Install it in the correct orientation.
For installation of the pump shaft housing,
reverse the removal steps.
Install the tension lever.
Install the drive belt.
Adjust the drive belt tension.

Replacement of Bearing of Trunnion Lever
Wear of bearings due to usage frequency or
damage to bearings or other parts caused by
water penetration may prevent smooth
movement of the neutral position mechanism.
Inspect and replace the bearings.
Make sure that there is no wear or bending in
the trunnion lever.
Make sure that there is no wear or rust in the
bearings, and no play between the trunnion
lever and bearing mounting shaft.
Remove the lever adjustment bracket lock
nut.
Loosen the nut to the threaded end of the
lever adjustment bracket.

Follow the steps below to remove the
trunnion lever.
Remove the cotter pin.

Remove the washer.
Follow the steps below to remove the
push-pull cable from the trunnion lever.

Knock-in a pin remover with a hammer to
remove the spring pin.

screwdriver or similar tool.
