Adjustment of Throttle Wire
Movement of the lever may become dull due to
frequent use, play of the inner wire may
change, and the inner wire may be stretched
depending on R angle of the outer wire.
Inspect them and, if necessary, implement
adjustment, etc.
Warning
Before starting the engine, verify that no one
is around the mower unit and that the area is
free of obstacles.
Caution
Make sure not to touch any hot parts.
Follow the steps below to set the maximum
position of the throttle lever.
Loosen the lock nuts on both sides of the
throttle wire (engine side and operation
panel side).
Turn the adjustment bolts on both sides
(engine side and operation panel side)
and loosen the throttle wire.

Loosen the lock nut, and tighten the
stopper bolt at a position away from the
throttle lever.

Raise the throttle lever to a position with a
clearance of 5 - 8 mm (0.2 - 0.3 in) from
the highest position on the high-speed
side.
Adjust the stopper bolt so that this position
is the highest point that the throttle lever
moves to, and tighten the lock nut.
