Prepare the new replacement O-ring and
bearing.
Important
For installation of the O-ring and thrust
bearing, apply grease and then install them.
Note:
There are different types of thrust bearings.
The thrust bearing (ball type) is configured
as shown below.

2 Housing washer

4 Bearing inner diameter
5 Bearing outer diameter
8. Note:
The shaft washer and the housing washer
have different outer diameter and inner
diameter dimensions.
Assemble the parts while checking the
secured side.
The secured side of the shaft washer is the
bearing inner diameter side, and the
secured side of the housing washer is the
bearing outer diameter side.

A Secured bearing inner diameter side
B Secured bearing outer diameter side
Apply grease to the rear wheel arm shaft.

1 Rear wheel arm
Apply grease to the new O-ring and thrust
bearing.
Install the O-ring to the rear wheel arm
shaft.
