Sensor function principle and Teach-In of the
switchpoints through IO-Link
The sensor supports two sensor function principles. The
IO-Link parameter 0x00BB can be used to toggle between
background suppression and background evaluation.
A static Teach-In procedure in
Single Value Teach
is used
for teaching the switchpoints. In parameter 0x003B
Teach-In status the current status of the Teach-In
procedure is indicated.

Teach-In background suppression Single Point Mode
The switchpoint can also be taught in SIO mode
using the button (see page 4).
If the Teach-In procedure is not completed, it
will be automatically canceled after 10 min. and
all the original settings are retained.
Teaching switchpoint in IO-Link mode:

Position the object in the beam path.

If the red LED comes on, TP1 could not be taught
(alignment is unsuitable or the object is outside the
detection range).

Verify whether TP1 has been taught successfully:
Read out and check the parameter Teach-In Status
using Index 0x003B.
