3.5 Operating modes of the system
The figures below show the systems in the different operating modes and
their wiring.
3.5.1 Analogue POTS operation
The minimum wiring for the operation with an analogue telephone line is pic-
tured in Fig. 5.

ATTENTION Earthing
If the analogue POTS interface is in operation the system must be earthed via
earthing screw for EMC reasons. If the earthing is not carried out, the Audio
signal can be faulty on the caller’s side (humming).
