CONFIGURATION OF THE SECURITY OPTION
A typical application of this function is the event-triggered call, e.g. via a TTL
contact (see CHAPTER 5.7.2.3.4, Page 78). Since the connection needs to be es-
tablished and the systems need to synchronize, the real time transmission
starts a few seconds after the event. In this way, important details could be
lost. By activating the ring buffer, the signal is permanently buffered. If an
event occurs, the signal is read out from the ring buffer and transmitted with
the corresponding delay. In this way, no relevant Audio information is lost.
