A green light near the server Unit Select button indicates that the server and KVM are connected.
Server Control Connections
The following illustration shows the interconnections between servers for console sharing. The
bottom system is the first on the chain and is designated as Server 1 for selection purposes.
KVM Connections with AC Power
The Speech Server and Windows servers are connected to each other with a C2T daisy chain cable
as shown in the preceding diagram. The number 1 server in the chain is connected to the KVM with
a C2T output cable as opposed to another server.
Caution:
If Windows nodes do not come up after a remote reboot, check the connections between the
KVM and the Windows nodes. Reconnect the KVM cabling to the Windows nodes and reboot
the nodes to resolve this issue.
