Caution:
Reliable Earthing—Reliable earthing of rack-mounted equipment should be maintained.
Particular attention should be given to supply connections other than direct connections to the
branch circuit.
Caution:
Over Current Protection Device (OCPD) for the MPS 500 DC—Because branch circuits
associated with DC mains are not standardized, the MPS 500 power supply input feed must be
protected by a not greater than 20 amp fuse or circuit breaker.
Installing the MPS 500 Standalone Chassis
The MPS 500 assembly can be installed in a 19" rack utilizing the supplied mounting flanges. These
flanges can be left in the standard position or moved to the center of the chassis if a center-of-
gravity mount is desired.
