Answering calls
Answering calls
You can lift the handset and speak with the caller as usual.
It is also possible to answer calls using the S
PEAKER
key and then to telephone with
the receiver on-hook.
If another subscriber within your system receives a call, you can divert the call to
your phone (pick-up).
It is also possible not to answer calls immediately but to put them on hold. This
allows you to complete any operating procedures you have already started
(e.g. editing a phone book entry).
When you are called
Your telephone rings. The call is shown on the display.
Lift the handset.

Making calls without the handset: Press S
PEAKER
key.

Internal and external calls can be differentiated by the different ringer tones.

If you do not want the other person to hear what you are saying, press the
Mute function key. The opposite party will be able to hear you again after you
press this key again.

You can disable the ringer tone while your phone is ringing: Press the "Calling"
softkey.
