Customizing your telephone

Recognition of partial numbers

Recognition of partial numbers

Up to 10 partial number and name allocations can be listed for displaying names for 
external calls with partial number recognition.
Partial number recognition is used for incoming calls and in all lists.

A list of partial numbers assigned to date opens.
You can create, edit and delete entries as usual.

•

The local telephone number uses the number-name translation first, then 
the partial number list.

•

The first suitable partial number will be used for name translation.

1st partial number: 089 – Munich

 

2nd partial number: 0892245 – Bank

 

Incoming calls from 0892245889 results in a display of

Munich
