tem has been switched off for system reasons. In

can be reactivated by switching
the ignition off and then on again. If the indica
tor lamp goes out, this means the system is fully
functional.

tem or electronic differential lock. This will also
cause an

malfunction. The vehicle can still be
braked in the normal way (however the
ABS

trol function will be out of action).

If the brake warning lamp

ABS
indicator lamp and the
ES(
indicator lamp, this can mean that the
control function of the
ESC/ ABS
is not work
ing. Input from the functions that stabilise
the vehicle is no longer available. This could
cause the vehicle to skid sideways. Drive care
fully to the nearest qualified workshop and
have the fault rectified.
