Deactivating the passenger's airbag
Applies to: vehicles with key-operated switch for passenger's
airbag
If an airbag has been deactivated, it should be
reactivated as soon as possible so that it can
continue to give the required protection.

WARNING
- Never install a rearward-facing child seat on
the passenger's seat unless the passenger's
airbag has been deactivated - this can result
in potentially fatal injuries to the child

- If you have deactivated the passenger's air
bag, reactivate it as soon as the child seat is
no longer needed so that the airbag can
continue to give the required protection.
- It is the driver's responsibility to ensure that
the key-operated switch is set to the correct
position.
