The -VAS 6586- can be secured via the bore holes in the

crossmember to the -VAS 6131 A- or a workbench.

♦

For the convertible top to be in the installation position, it must

be secured to the main bearing via threaded holes »A; B; C;

D and E« of the mounting plates.

♦

First, screw the mounting plates slightly onto the main bearing.

♦

Insert the convertible top with the mounting plates into the -

VAS 6586- and tighten the screws on the main bearing.

♦

For proper functioning, the hydraulic pump must be placed

with the oil reservoir and hydraulic pump motor in the half

shells on the crossmember.
