4.3 Digital Inputs DI
This input is designed to ac vate the status of EXTERNAL ALARM or EXTERNAL FAULT by using an external
signal coming from the automa on system, alarm system or from a push bu+on.
The dual input is galvanically isolated from the rest of unit circuits. To use it connect voltage with any
polarity to terminals (parameters – see sec on 10).
The current input status can be observed via the user’s interface (see sec on 5.7).
4.4 Visual and acous!c indicator outputs
The Control Unit is equipped with dedicated outputs for acous c and visual indicator control.
The visual indicator output can operate in two modes: with backup and without backup. For the opera on
principle of visual indicator output with backup see Figure 7. The input enables when warning 1 threshold
exceeding is detected at any detector. In the case of backup opera on mode it disables when the
concentra on drops below the warning 1 threshold and a er pushing the bu+on (see also sec on 5.5).
In the case of no backup opera on, the input behaves as a relay opera ng in Warning 1 program (see
sec on 4.2). The output status can be observed via the user’s interface (see sec on 5.5). Input
