7. Level 1 password
It makes it possible to change access password for access level 1.
Pay special a+en on while changing access password for access level 1.
Entering a new password a er losing the old one will be possible a er
logging on to access level 2 or by the manufacturer's service
8. Level 2 password
It makes it possible to change the access password for access level 2.
Pay special a+en on while changing access password for access Level 2. Only
manufacturer’s service will be capable of entering a new password a er
losing the old one.
9. Buzzer seNngs
It allows users to change internal buzzer seNngs. The following parameters can be changed:
(see sec on 5.11):
•
buzzer recovery me for an alarm,
•
buzzer recovery me for a fault,
•
buzzer disabled permanently.
10. Display seNngs
It allows users to set a display contrast level.
11. Detector seNngs
It allows users to configure the number of detectors in the gas detec on system. The user is
requested to enter this number ranging from 1 to 20. Subsequent network addresses
star ng from 1 are assigned to subsequent Control Unit detector channels. Make sure that
detectors connected to the Control Unit have subsequent addresses from the pre-set range.
12. Output seNngs
It is possible to configure Control Unit outputs. A er choosing this op on, the user is
requested to select an output to be configured, and then to enter opera on parameters for
this output. Parameter informa on – see sec on 4.2 and 4.4.
13. DIs seNngs
It allows users to configure the input as ALARM or FAULT.
14. Extension Module
seNngs
It allows users to configure Extension Module installed in the Control Unit (see also sec on
4.6). This op on is available only, when the Extension Module is installed.
The type and range of parameters depends on the type of Extension Module – see Extension
Module manual for their descrip ons (see sec on 13).
15. Log off
It returns to the basic seNng level (level 0) – see also sec on 5.3.

Events history
The device registers events related to the system opera on (alarms, failures or informa on events, e. g.
inhibit mode). A specific event is connected with its me of occurrence.
Event history allows to store 4 000 records (in case of space used the oldest events are en by new)
and can not be deleted.
It is possible to save event history directly to a file (using the Sigma Toolbox so ware).

Buzzer – internal acous!c indicator
Sigma Control L Unit module has a built-in internal acous c indicator, called a buzzer. It is designed to
generate an acous c signal when operator interven on can be necessary, including a gas risk or system
component fault.
