Start up
Once the unit is installed change access passwords (see sec on 5.9).
Perform a load test before opera ng your gas detec on system for the first me and a er
each system component replacement – see sec on 8.4.
8.4
Load test
To perform a load test:
1. operate all outputs using the output test (see sec on 5.9),
2. observe the unit behaviour for a certain period (at least one minute),
3. check for any fault status on the display.
Test result can be assumed posi ve if:
devices connected to SO and SA outputs operate correctly,
no unit overload occurred during the test (see sec on 5.9).
If the test result is nega ve, remove the cause for system malfunc on and repeat the test. See also
sec on 7.
If an overload occurs during unit opera on (also during the load test), remove the cause of
load as soon as possible. Using the system with overload may result in its shut
down / damage in a cri cal situa on (when there is a risk caused by a dangerous substance).
