• Type A .......... CH1, 2, 3, and 4 (CH9, 10, 11, and 12) are displayed on the left of the
screen and CH5, 6, 7, and 8 (CH13, 14, 15, and 16) are displayed on
the right of the screen.
• Type B .......... CH1, 3, 5, and 7 (CH9, 11, 13, and 15) are displayed on the left of the
screen and CH2, 4, 6, and 8 (CH10, 12, 14, and 16) are displayed on
the right of the screen.
* The setting has no effect in the audio mode (see “4.7 Audio mode”), MULTI5 mode
(see “4.10.5 Multi mode 5”) or OPTION mode (see “4.11 Option mode”). In these
modes, the level meter channel layout is always fixed.
Setting the audio level meter auxiliary display to ON or OFF
Whether to display the audio level meter memory and channel number can be selected
using Box&Info among the AUDIO items on the menu screen.
• ON ................ The
audio level meter memory and channel numbers are displayed.
• OFF .............. The display of the audio level meter memory and channel numbers is
hidden.
* The setting has no effect in the audio mode (see “4.7 Audio mode”). In the audio mode,
the level meter memory and channel numbers are always displayed.
Setting the peak level-only display function to ON of OFF
ON or OFF for the peak level-only display function can be selected using PK Only
among the AUDIO items on the menu screen.
• ON ................ The
audio peak level and audio ENABLE are displayed.
• OFF .............. The audio peak level, current audio level and audio ENABLE are
displayed.
Selecting the peak hold time
The peak level hold time can be selected using PK Hold among the AUDIO items
on the menu screen.
• SHORT ......... The
maximum
audio
level is held on the display for about 2 seconds.
• MIDDLE........ The maximum audio level is held on the display for about 4 seconds.
• LONG ........... The
maximum
audio level is held on the display for about 8 seconds.
When Dual Link1 or Dual Link2 has been selected for the input channel, the
audio level meter displays the level of the audio signals which have been
multiplexed with Link A.
And the audio level meter is displayed only when SDI signals are selected.
When the sync signal is set as an external reference, malfunction of the audio
level meter may rarely occur. Audio data sampling cannot be performed with
this unit in the following cases:
When sampling HD format signals:
The signal that includes no ADF of the audio
subsidiary data just after the
CRC data
When sampling SD format signals:
The signal that includes no ADF of the audio subsidiary data just after the EAV
data
