field can be used to describe the system. These notes will also be included in
the exported site information. The exported file will be stored as an XML file.

Backup the Configuration
The backup file is saved in a proprietary file format and cannot be edited. Save it in a place
where you can easily find it for a restore.

Click “Configuration” on the start page.

Select Other Settings > Backup/Restore.

Click the “Backup” button.

Click the “Save” button in the opened dialogue.

Select a location and enter a file name, then save the file.

Restore the Configuration
Note:
When the UPAC is restored, all changes that have been made since the last backup
will be discarded.

Click “Configuration” on the start page.

Select Other Settings > Backup/Restore.

Click “Browse” button and select the backup file.

Click the “Restore” button. An information window will open and inform you
when the restore is ready.

If the IP address or exchange has changed, click “OK” to reboot, else click
“Cancel”.
Note:
A restart will take a couple of minutes and during that time the UPAC is
unreachable. A green function LED indicates that the restart is completed.
