download the latest software to your telephone via the telephone line.

This procedure last up to 15 minutes. During this time your telephone is blocked.

During downloading the following data /settings
are lost.
If you need them, make sure
you note them down before downloading.
– Telephone number for accessing current software
– Programming lock
– CUG index
– CUG MSN
– Charge total
– Charge total per MSN
– Total call duration
– Call duration per MSN
– All timer settings
To download a software release:

Now enter the telephone number from which the current software is to be retrieved.
This number is provided by the Ascom GmbH hotline.

If insufficient memory is available for the download this will be indicated on the display.
In this case you must delete the messages stored on your answering machine.

If the display is blank after the download:

Wait approximately 15 minutes. If the display is still
blank:

Briefly disconnect your telephone set from the ISDN network by unplugging the connector
of the power cord on the underside of the telephone set and plugging it back in again
(see Section ”Connecting the telephone set”, Page 7).
