Precondition: You have assigned the called MSN to the answering machine and the latter is swit-
ched on.

The answering machine seizes the line. The recorded announcement is played back.
Picking up a call from the answering machine
While a message is being recorded on the answering machine you can accept the corresponding
call and talk with the caller.

Pick up the handset.
Recording stops as soon as you pick up the handset.
Unanswered calls
Your Eurit 40 stores in the caller list the telephone numbers or names of the last 30 incoming calls
that were not answered. The total number of such calls is shown on the quiescent display.
Deleting an entry from the caller list
