Important information
– Before using remote message retrieval you must enter a new PIN code (refer to following
Section). No remote message retrieval is possible with the factory default PIN code 1234.
– At least one announcement must have been recorded and been assigned to an MSN.
– To simplify remote message retrieval record an individual ”Remote retrieval Help” (see Section:
”Recording Remote retrieval help”, Page 59).
– For remote message retrieval you must call an MSN to which a recording has been assigned.
– Your entries are acknowledged by signal tones:
– Correct input: short, high signal tone
– Incorrect input: long, low signal tone.
– During remote message retrieval all functions can be cancelled using the
key.
– Remote message retrieval is terminated by placing the handset on-hook.
Changing the PIN code for remote message retrieval
For your security it is necessary that you initially enter a new 4-position PIN code. No remote messa-
ge retrieval is possible with the factory default PIN code 1234.
