Call waiting
It is possible that someone calls you while you are engaged in a telephone call. If you have activa-
ted the ”Call waiting” function, incoming calls are signalled by a special ringing tone and also indi-
cated on the display.
You can either accept or reject the waiting call, or forward it to the answering machine.
Activating/deactivating the call waiting function

In the factory default setting the ”Call waiting” function is activated. To change this setting:

Repeatedly press the Display key at

until the desired
setting is displayed.

When the ”Call waiting” function is switched off, incoming calls are not signalled but they are
stored in the caller list.
Rejecting a waiting call
The ”Call waiting” function is switched on. A subscriber calls you while you are engaged in a tele-
phone call. You hear the special ringing tone.

You can continue normally with the active call. The telephone number of the calling subscriber is
stored in the caller list.
Accepting a waiting call
The ”Call waiting” function is switched on. A subscriber calls you while you are engaged in a tele-
phone call. You hear the special ringing tone.
You can accept the waiting call and either put the active connection on hold or terminate it.
Putting the active connection on hold
You can put up to 4 connections on hold.
