You are now connected to the second caller. The arrow in front of the telephone number indicates
the currently active connection. The first connection is in a ”waiting position” (HOLD).
Terminating an active call

Press the END key.

Put the handset on-hook and pick it up after the ringing tone.

If ”Call transfer (ECT) by on-hook” is active, the last 2 connections are interconnected (refer to
Section ”Call transfer (ECT) by on-hook”, Page 67). The remaining connections are signalled
audibly and visually.
Forwarding the waiting call to the answering machine
The ”Call waiting” function is active. The answering machine must be switched on.

The answering machine seizes the line. You can continue your telephone conversation normally.

appears after the Display key has been pressed, two connec-
tions on the same ISDN connection are already set up.
Setting up additional connections
While you are engaged in a call you can establish up to 4 additional connections. To establish an
additional connection during an active call:

Dial the telephone number.
You are talking to your new partner. The arrow in front of the telephone number identifies the
active call. The first connection is in a ”waiting position” (HOLD) and the person you were talking
to first cannot hear your conversation.
To establish an additional connection repeat the above steps. Up to 4 connections can be put into a
”waiting position” (HOLD).
