Call-by-call provider selection
The providers defined by you as VIP entries (see ”Programming providers”, Page 34) appear on the
VIP display in the basic state. You can therefore select these providers and assign them to any num-
ber or entry without using a menu. After selecting the provider the display shows the symbol
P
.
The next outgoing call is then routed via the selected provider.

Press the Display key at the selected provider on the VIP display.

Enter the number or name or first few letters to call up an entry.

Lift the handset or use the hands-free facility.
Completion of call to busy subscriber (CCBS)
Activating the CCBS function
You attempt to call someone who is currently engaged in a call. If you activate the function ”Com-
pletion of call to busy subscriber” the call-back is signalled on your telephone by a special ringing
signal and also on the display as soon as the busy connection becomes free.
The subscriber you have called is busy.

Place the handset on-hook.
The activated automatic call-back function is signalled on the quiescent display by the symbol

You have been trying all morning to reach someone who is continually on the telephone.
You can activate the automatic call-back function and continue with your work. You are
called back automatically as soon as the desired subscriber number is no longer busy.
Answering the automatic call-back
You hear the special ringing tone. The call-back is also signalled on the display.
To pick-up the call:
