General Product Information
Purpose
The Ascotel PBX systems 2025, 2045
and 2065 are intended to be used
exclusively as telecommunication
installations for voice and data.
The Ascotel systems 2025, 2045 and
2065 are to be operated in conjunc-
tion with terminals of the Office series,
standard ISDN terminals, analogue ter-
minals and with supplementary equip-
ment and applications supported by
Ascom.
Liability
The systems are to be installed, com-
missioned and operated in accordance
with the provisions of the System Man-
ual.
Any servicing, expansion and repair
work is to be carried out only by tech-
nical personnel with the appropriate
training.
Only original parts and components
from the Ascotel product range are to
be used.
Warranty claims will lapse if third
parties intervene on system elements
such as the housing, mainboard,
expansion cards, connector strips, etc.,
in any way during the warranty period.
Warranty is limited to the free
replacement of defective components,
programs and user information during
the warranty period.
The manufacturer shall not be liable
for direct or indirect damage that may
be caused by a defective product,
components or errors in the product
documentation.
Installation instructions
Prior to the installation consult the
System Manual and follow the installa-
tion instructions. Keep the System
Manual in a safe place and regularly
updated.
Check the supplied Ascotel PBX sys-
tem for completeness when unpack-
ing it. Any complaints are to be settled
within a useful period of time.
Ascotel PBX systems must not be
directly exposed to direct sunlight or
other sources of heat (radiators). Take
note of the guaranteed temperature
range.
The premises in which Ascotel PBX
systems are installed must be pro-
tected against water, condensation
and dampness. Make sure the
premises are appropriately ventilated
and that they comply with the required
humidity range.
