Gear system (O and X8)
• The bicycle is fitted with 7 gears.
• The gear mechanism (X8) is built into the hub of
the rear wheel (I).
• The gear shifter (O) is a grip shift, located on the right-
hand side of the handlebar. The gears are numbered
on the shifter from the lowest gear (1) to the highest (7).
• The gear shifter operates the gear mechanism by
means of a gear cable (R), which is attached to a gear
switch on the right-hand side of the hub.

The wheel has been separated from the rear fork, and
the chain guard has been disassembled, in order to expose
the outer gear mechanism)
