Checking and adjusting the temperature
The refrigeration temperature check is carried out by using a:
digital solar thermometer(Fig.11); the electronic controller (optional) (Fig.12)

Before loading goods, wash and disinfect the cabinet as indicated in chapter 20.

Remedy
•
arrange the products in order and evenly (Fig.13)
•
introduce products already cooled at the required storage temperature
•
load the cabinet so that the goods from a longer time is sold before the newly
received goods (stock rotation)
•
on bent shelves, always use retainers
What to avoid
DO NOT obstruct/impede the flow of cooled air
NEVER introduce heated products
DO NOT obstruct the inlet of cooled air with: goods, price tags, price holders,
decorations etc.
DO NOT climb onto the cabinet or the bumper rail (Fig.14).

Arrange items without leaving empty spaces to improve cabinet performance
First use up the goods that have been stored in the unit the longest before adding new arriv

arrivals (foodstuffs rotation).
The Customer should:
check that all operations have been performed in compliance with applicable regulations
use suitable communication methods to warn consumers not to climb onto cabinets.

Defrosting and water drainage
Defrosting of the Atlanta cabinet is carried out as off-cycle defrosting (stoppage of the refrigeration
cycle).

Draining the water
Install a floor drain with a slight slope to avoid:
- unpleasant odours inside the cabinet
- dispersion of cooled air
- malfunction of the cabinet due to moisture
Procedure
- install a suitable siphon between the drain and the connection to ground
- hermetically seal the area of drainage to ground.

periodically check that hydraulic connections are perfectly efficient, contacting a qualified
installer.
