Clean and Disinfect with Disinfection Spray
Handle or Spray Bottle
(Still Bath and Hydrosound® System) (42 steps)
Before every use, make sure that the bath system is clean and
disinfected. This procedure cleans and disinfects the bath system.
Remove visual residue (Step 1-6 of 42)

Check the level of disinfectant in the disinfectant bottle.

Make sure all functions are turned off.

Open drain to empty the bathtub from any left over water.

Detach and place accessories (if applicable) such as pillow,
foot support and toiletry tray at the bottom of the bathtub.

Press the Patient Shower button on the control panel.

Shower and rinse the bathtub and accessories in the bottom
of the bathtub with water to remove visible residue. Turn the
accessories and rinse again.

Put on protective gloves and protective glasses.

Open the access door on the left side of the panel and lift out
the disinfection spray handle or use a disinfection spray
bottle.

For disinfection spray handle only: Direct the disinfectant
spray towards the bottom of the bathtub and press the
Disinfection button on the control panel.
10 For disinfection spray handle only: Adjust water
temperature so it reaches approximately 25 °C (77 °F) to
eliminate disinfectant fumes.
11 Spray disinfectant in the bathtub, keeping an eye on the flow
meter so it is in accordance with the setting range according
to the mix ration table in section

12 Spray disinfectant in the drain.
13 Scrub the drain with a long handled brush.
14 Close the drain.
15 Spray disinfectant on all internal bathtub surfaces and the
accessories at the bottom of the bathtub. Pay attention to
knobs and sensors attached to the bathtub surface such as
drain control knob and surface overflow outlet.
