Problems due to the type of system and computer’s mode of operation
All work intended to partially or completely modify the operation of the computer,
monitor or any components connected to them is done at the user’s full and exclu-
sive liability. If there is any doubt regarding alternative computer cable hookups,
please contact your nearest service center for further information.
CAUTION: DO NOT DO THE WORK DESCRIBED BELOW IF YOU ARE NOT ABSO-
LUTELY CERTAIN THAT IT IS NECESSARY FOR THE SYSTEM TO OPERATE COR-
RECTLY.
Faults can be caused by the type of control unit connected to the computer and the computer’s
operational mode.
Problems may be solved by inverting the wires in a connector, as described in the following
table:

• Unscrew the cable clamp with a small pair of pliers.
• Prize the connector open with a screwdriver in the provided slot (Fig. 20).
• Undo the screws, pull out the crimped terminals and swap the wires around (Fig. 21).
Tighten the screws to the correct amount when securing the cables.
