Once you have selected an audio alarm click to enable the
alarm in the WorldCast Equinox
If you decide not to select an audio alarm click to revert back to
the previous settings
Note:
If in stereo mode and both Left and right input Silence Detect are enabled, both left and right
need to alarm before keep alive packets are sent.

Switchbox Control
To enable the Equinox/Astral to control the attached Switchover Unit enabled this control
– the Switch-
over Unit will be operated whenever the summary alarm is raised (i.e. if any other alarm is present) for a
predetermined time. Enter the required time or use the
controls to increment or decrement to timeout
period.

Clicking on the “Aux” button opens the Auxiliary Data Configuration folder
which provides a set of configuration tabs. These configurations are relat-
ed to the Auxiliary Data and Opto-coupler settings of the unit.

Configuring auxiliary data
Selecting Aux Data allows you to select whether the auxiliary data is embedded in the audio stream or sent us-
ing a separate IP stream. Select the data rate you need to support (up to 9,600 baud for Embedded Aux Data
and 115,400 for IP Aux Data).
