When selecting a speed dial for IP, the user must select Master or Slave and this will be indicated as M or
S on the Panic Dial menu once configured. Remember that when using IP, both sides of the link need to
be connected and there must only be 1 codec configured as master. The number beside the M or S indi-
cates the speed dial number.
5.5.20.
SNTP
The SNTP settings allow the user to configure the codecs time to a SNTP server.
The following options are available to configure:
Enable this feature and enter a Primary Address so that the codec will receive its time from an NTP serv-
er.
The secondary address is used if the primary address is not accessible.
The Sync time is how many minutes that the unit will check the time and adjust if necessary.
GMT offset would need to be set to 1 for example in British summer time.
5.5.21.
Sec PSU Alarm
This option will report N/A if a second power supply is not fitted.
This gives the user the ability to disable the alarm for the second power supply if there is no power cable
fitted. Power Supply alarms will mask any other alarms.
