External signals are ignored during the
self-teach procedure except for the photocell during closing
and STOP signals. If these signals are triggered the self-
teach procedure is stopped and must be repeated

FORCED SELF-TEACHING
After a RESET, or when any of the “speed” (
SPE
),
ramp incline (

or
Ab
) or approach distance (
Ac
)
parameters are re-programmed or the number of motors
connected (even temporarily) is changed,
the SELF-TEACH
PROCEDURE (“

repeated.
3.1.1 SELF-TEACH PROCEDURE
Press the
YELLOW
and
BLUE
buttons simultaneously

Press the START button consecutive opening and
closing cycles are performed as described in
Fig.4
. The
self-teach procedure then ends with the gate closed and
the display panels are switched OFF.
Operation is now possible using the key button or a
programmed remote control unit to check correct functioning.
NOTE: after the self-teach procedure the default
f u n c t i o n i n g c o n f i g u r a t i o n i s a u t o m a t i c w i t h t h e
factory settings (see tab. Programmable parameters).
3.1.2 OPERATIONS AVAILABLE DURING “
Lrn
”:
The following operations can be performed when “
Lrn
”
is
fl
ashing on the display unit (when the yellow and blue
buttons are pressed or in forced self-teach status):
SPECIAL OPERATION during “
Lrn
” status
:
This type of operation is useful before the self-teach
procedure begins to close the gates and/or to adjust the
position of the limit switches.
To move
wing 1,
press and hold down the
YELLOW button
on the unit;
To move
wing 2,
press and hold down the
BLUE button
.
Each time the
YELLOW
or
BLUE
button is released and
then pressed again, the movement of the relevant wing is
reversed.
ADJUSTING THE LIMIT SWITCHES (OPTIONAL)
Adjust the position of the limit switch on the operator and
move the gate (red or yellow button) when the limit switch
is reached the gate stops and the code for the limit switch
programmed is shown on the display unit:
A1
= wing 1
opening,
A2
= wing 2 opening,
C1
= wing 1 closing,
C2
= wing 2 closing. When the positions required are obtained,
start the self-teach procedure (START button).
