5.7. Flue Piping
The outdoor unit is supplied with a flue outlet (B23P type) in
white polypropylene that consists of:
•
Rain shelter for air intake
•
One 90° bend Ø60
•
A flue terminal Ø60 with well for flue analysis.
The boiler has an NTC sensor on flue outlet and a thermal
cut-out on the exchanger, to protect polypropylene flue pipe.
The boiler exhaust can be installed directly through the wall.
If exhaust is through the roof, the following accessories can
be used:

Maximum length allowed with polypropylene plain tube Ø60
is 4 meters on a straight line. If bends are used, deduct from
max length:
•
1.5 m per each PP 90° bend Ø60 (wide radius)
•
1.0 m per each PP 45° bend Ø60 (wide radius)
We recommend orienting horizontal flue terminal towards the
front of the boiler (see drawing in this page) to avoid flue con
-
densation on the wall of the building.
WARNING: Install a shelter on boiler flue outlet to prevent
rain from dropping into the unit.
If flue system is longer than 4 meters, an adaptor 60M/80F
should be used (code G15816-06-08) to shift to Ø80 terminal.
If Ø80 PP plain tube is used, maximum length extends to 8 m.

pipe, at a max distance of 1 meter from the boiler.
