Respect polarity

Binary code is used for setting the 

address. Codes are are following:

1st=1; 2nd=2; 3rd=4; 4th=8; 5th=16; 

6th=32.

Therefore, to configure address 13, 

move to ON switches 4th+3rd+1st. 

Corresponding address is 

8+4+1=13.

To change the address, power the 

board off and then on.

5.5.3.  Smartcontrol remote control connection

Use supplied connector to connect the SmartControl. Wire 

cables complying with their polarity.

Connect RS485 network to relevant terminals.

If more boilers are installed, connect terminals D+ and D- to 

each other.  The network can have a serial or a star topology. 

Use a shielded cable with a section of at least 0.4 mm2.

You then need to set correct address for each board.

Ad-

dresses go from 1 to N without gaps. Each board address, if 

different from zero, is displayed on LCD screen as Axx, where 

xx is the address.

To configure SmartControl, see relevant manual supplied with 

the device.
