2. To set the desired gateway, use the
CANCEL
and
ENTER
buttons to position the cursor
over the first digit you want to change.
• To move the cursor to the right, press
ENTER
.
• To move the cursor to the left, press
CANCEL
.
3. When the cursor is positioned over a digit you want to change, press either
UP
or
DOWN
to increase or decrease the value.
4. When the desired digit is displayed, press
ENTER
to confirm the setting and move the
cursor to the right over the next digit.
5. Repeat the steps above until the desired gateway is displayed.
6. When the desired gateway is displayed, press
ENTER
repeatedly until the cursor
moves all the way to the right and the
IPv4 Menu
is redisplayed.
7. To save the gateway address, press
DOWN
repeatedly until the
Save Changes
option
is marked on
IPv4 Menu
, and then press
ENTER
.
Configuration > IPv6 Config
To access the
IPv6
Menu
, press
DOWN
to scroll through the sub-menus on the
Config
Menu
until the
IPv6 Config
menu is selected, then press
ENTER
. The following screen is
displayed:
This menu lists sub-menus that allow you to set IPv6 parameters for the chassis.
IPv6 Sub-menu
Description
IPv6 Enable
Enables an IPv6 address for the chassis.
LAN1 IPv6 Addr
Sets the IPv6 address on the chassis to an available static
IPv6 address on the network. The controller supports two
LAN ports:
• You must set an IPv6 address for the LAN1 port to be
able to access the chassis over a network.
• Setting an IPv6 address for the LAN2 is optional.
LAN1 Prefix
Sets the subnet prefix length.
LAN1 Gateway
Sets the gateway address for the chassis.
