10.8.1. Battery removal
• Disarm the circuit breaker;
• On the OUTCHAIR L, remove the two rear mudguards by unscrewing the mudguard
screws. (Fig. 27)
• On the OUTCHAIR S, remove the complete/full body/bodywork by unscrewing the
four knobs and tilting the seat. (Fig. 28)
• If you have the castors option, unscrew the cylinder screw. (Fig. 29)
• Unscrew the two screws to each side while holding onto the rear cover in order to
remove it. (Fig. 30)
• Unscrew the two screws on the back plate to remove it, this will give you access to the
rear battery. (Fig. 31)
• Before unscrewing the terminals from the batteries, note the position of each cable for
future reassembly. (Fig. 32)
• Unscrew the upper terminal (+ terminal) of the rear battery being careful not to cause
a short circuit (protect the terminals with tape after removing them). (Fig. 32)
• Move the rear battery and place it on level ground it in order to unscrew the lower
terminal (terminal -). (Fig. 33) Remove the rear battery. (Fig. 34)
• Hold the right rear engine in place and remove the right rear wheel following the
wheel disassembly procedure previously described. (Fig. 34)
• Unscrew the two holding screws of the right battery. (Fig. 35)
• Disconnect the terminals from the central battery. (Fig. 36)
• Remove the central battery. (Fig. 37)
