The AMX Icons2 font provides various control-oriented icons that can be engraved on the
buttons. Click here for a character map for AMX Icon 2.
The VA Engraving module supports the fonts included in the supported OS (System)
languages. You must have the language loaded on you OS and then use Arial Unicode MS to
render the text on the button.

Specify the size of the text from the
Engraving Scale
drop-down menu. Click inside the text field to
enable Up and Down arrows to allow scaling the selected button text up or down, in .10%
increments (default = 1.0, or 100%).
Remote UI Tabs
For every Remote added to the system, a separate Remote UI tab is added to the Diagram Area. For
Remote Controllers, the UI consists of the text that will be presented on each button.
Click on a Remote UI Tab to view the Remote UI diagram, where you can add, edit and view button
label text for each button.
Remote UI Diagram
An example Remote UI diagram is shown below (FIG. 112). Click on any button on the Remote UI
diagram to select it for editing. The selected button's properties are displayed in the Properties window.
Remote Buttons
AMX Mio R-1 and R-2 Remotes feature six customizable pushbuttons to allow the end-user to control
system devices. Click on any button on the Remote UI diagram to select it for editing, via the button
properties in the Properties window (FIG. 113).
