2.1 Attaching Cables
Caution:
To avoid damage to the connectors and boards from cable weight, we
recommend using lacer bars or some other type of cable management system.
When attaching video input and output cables, refer to the sheet labeled
“AutoPatch Epica Connector Guide” that is shipped with each system. The sheet
shows where to attach each cable on the rear of each enclosure (multi-enclosure
systems have an enclosure number sticker on the rear of each enclosure). Follow
the sheet exactly; the system was programmed at the factory to operate
only
as
indicated on the sheet.
To connect video inputs and outputs,
fasten the cables onto the input and
output BNC connectors (see Figure 2).
Make sure the video cable is connected to the correct BNC connector on the
correct enclosure. Standard video and Hi-Z sync boards look similar to
ultra-wideband video boards, but the “Connector Guide” identifies them.
