6.6.2 Re fill ing with fuel
• Park the ma chine on an even, level sur face.
• Shut off the en gine.
• Open the bon net.
• Clean the area around the fuel filler neck (1).
• Open the fuel cap (2).
• Vi su ally check the fuel level.
• If nec es sary, add die sel fuel (see sec tion 6.6.1).
• Hand tighten the fuel cap (2).
6.6.3 Drain ing con den sa tion

up in the fuel sys tem and af fect en gine op er a tion or dam age the
in jec tion sys tem.
There fore the con den sa tion should be drained from the fuel sys -
tem ev ery 100 hours:
• Open the hand wheel (1) and
• Drain the fluid un til noth ing but die sel fuel is fl ow ing. Cap ture
the drain ing fluid and dis pose of it in an en vi ron men tally sound
man ner.
• Firmly close the hand wheel.
• Ven ti late the fuel sys tem (see Sec tion 6.6.6).
6. En gine main te nance

Important
Do not run the tank all the way to empty.
If the tank is com pletely emp tied and then re fu elled,
the fuel sys tem must be ven ti lated.
