Configuration Parameters (Continued)
Point
Calibration
(F6)
Allows the correction of the level measurement by
entering the correct distance from the bottom of the sensor
mounting to the liquid surface. This offsets the reading as
required to produce the corrected measurement.
Consult factory before using this function.
DAC Trim
Allows a field reference meter to be connected to the
transmitter for adjusting transmitter output current
4 mA Trim:
3.5 to 4.5
20 mA Trim
19.5 to 20.5
Strapping
Table
The strapping table is a look-up table of level vs. volume
that is entered by the user based on known parameters.
Use this function for volume measurement only

Meter
Configures the 7-Digit Display to show Level, Volume.4-20
mA, % of Range, Distance. Either as a constant display or
scrolling all enabled choices
TDR
Configuration
Configures the current output for Near Zone and Lost Echo
conditions
Lost Echo occurs when the unit cannot find a valid level or
the end of the probe and represents an error condition.
Near Zone occurs when a level is tracked into the Upper
Dead Zone. When this occurs the current will go to the
selected value and remain there until the level falls back
into the measurable range
NOTE: If the system is powered on or “signal acquire” is
activated with the level in the Near Zone, it will not be
detected and an erroneous reading may result.
Lost Echo:
Low Current (3.7
mA - Default)
High Current (22
mA)
Near Zone:
Low Current (3.7
mA)
High Current (22
mA - Default)
