Configuration
These items (Volume Units, Maximum Capacity and
Vessel Type) are applicable when Analog Loop Assign is
set to Volume only
Volume Units Selects the units of measurement for all volume based
outputs, calculations and configuration entries
Changing units will produce an automatic conversion of all
volume parameters, LRV and URV.

Enter the volume of the vessel’s capacity that correlates to
the Tank Height.

Vessel Type
Selection of one of the defined vessel shapes will cause
a 21 point Strapping Table to be generated based on
vessel shape. A Custom (User Defined) selection can also
be manually entered using the Strapping Table, defined
below, to correlate level to volume, weight or other
customer defined parameter.

Range Values
LRV and URV. These are measured from the tank bottom
when Analog Loop Assign is set to Level or Volume and
are measured from the bottom of sensor mounting when
Analog Loop Assign is set to Distance.
LRV (4 mA)
The point in the vessel that the output signal equals 4 mA
(0%).
Units are defined by Analog Loop Assign and Level,
Volume or Distance Units as applicable.
Changing Analog Loop Assign or units will automatically
change these values.
