ENC and DEC switches

The

ENC

switch routes the

Lt Rt

signals from the external encoder to the

Stereo

Buss

outputs via relays. The default is

OFF

This can provide a safety feature for broadcasters where

Lt Rt

is the normal

programme. An

unencoded

stereo mix of the same material can be available on the

Stereo Mix

and the

ENC

switch toggles between the two.

The

DEC

switch enables the insertion point in the

Monitor Speaker

paths, allowing the external

decoder to be switched in/out. The default is

OUT

Metering

Multi Format

Six expanded scale

meters are fitted for

L,C,R,S,Ls

and

signals.

These are each fitted with a peak LED and follow the Peak/VU ballistics
selection for the stereo bargraphs.

A bank of four interlocking source switches select between

Direct/Playback

inputs, the common of these inputs (

A pair of bargraph LED meters read the currently selected stereo monitor source
and can also be selected to follow
