Filters
A pair of continuously variable
High Pass
and
Low Pass
filters are fitted, using
dual concentric pots. The upper control is the
Low Pass
filter.
The
Filters
normally reside in the
Mix Path
(pre-EQ), but they can also be
configured for use with
Channel Path
components (such as the
Mic/Line
amp)
via the
Input Flip
switch.
Since both signal paths address the
Stereo Buss
, various
Filter
configurations
are possible allowing them to be used in a flexible manner, including the ability to place them
into the
Virtual Dynamics®
side-chain.
Filters In
Operating the
Filters In
switch places the
High
and
Low Pass Filters
in/out of circuit.
High Pass
The
High Pass
filter operates over a frequency range of 25Hz to 500Hz with a slope of 12dB per
octave.
Low Pass
The
Low Pass
filter operates over a frequency range of 2kHz to 30kHz with a slope of 12dB per
octave.
Side-Chain Switch
Operating the
S/C
switch places the
High
and
Low Pass
filters into the
Virtual Dynamics®
side-chain path.
