Auxiliary Sends
There are eight
Mono Auxiliary Sends
fitted, arranged in pairs on dual
concentric pots. All
Aux Sends
have unity gain when the controls are fully
clockwise.
Normally,
Aux Sends 1-4
are fed from the
Mix Path
, with
Aux Sends 5-8
fed
from the
Channel Path
. These can swapped between either path as required,
using the
Aux 1-4 to CH
and
Aux 5-8 to Mix
switches.
Pre-Fade Aux Sends
Additionally, Aux Sends 1-4 can be selected pre-fader using the Pre 1-4 switch.
Aux Send Mutes
Aux Sends 1&2
are fitted with a
Mute Switch
which operates on both as a
pair. This
Mute
is also automated via the
Supertrue
mixing system software.
Expanding the Number of Aux Busses
Refer to the
Aux 3-4 To Tks
section of the
Routing
area opposite.
Channel Path Inputs
48V
Applies
48 Volts DC
phantom power to the microphone input
XLR
socket for
use with condenser microphones.
It is
NOT
recommended for use with
unbalanced
sources and should
NOT
be operated with an open channel to avoid potential loudspeaker damage
due to the large switching transient!
Line Switch
Both
Mic
and
Line
signals share the same
XLR
connector. The
Line
switch disconnects phantom
power from the input and changes the input gain structure accordingly.
Note:
Input signals can easily be swapped between both
Channel
and
Mix Paths
using the
Input Flip
switch located in the
Mix Path
Input area.
Gain Mic (Line)
The
Gain
control adjusts the sensitivity of the
XLR
input. The
Mic
range is 0dB to +66dB. The
Line
range is –9dB to +15dB.
