Mono
The behaviour of the
Mono
function depends upon the
current operating mode.
For traditional
Stereo
work, a mono image is placed
across both
L&R
speakers. In
Multi-Format
work, a
Mono
blend of the incoming sources is placed onto the
Centre
speaker only.
Note: Mono
takes place after
Input Source
selection and
Input Cut
functions. Care should be
taken not to inadvertently exclude monitor signals from the
Mono
mix.
Note: Mono
automatically mutes all speakers except either
L&R
or
Centre
, depending upon the
current
Format
.
Filter
This button places an
80Hz
low pass filter
(with additional gain) in and out of the
Sub
speaker
output path.
Pink Noise Filter Modifier
Holding down the
Filter
button for approximately
Two
seconds, places pink noise equally across
all speaker outputs and also
applies
the sub filter to the sub speaker.
Holding down the
Filter
button for approximately
Four
seconds, places pink noise equally across
all speaker outputs
without
the sub filter.
