7.7 AutoTrail position encoder
If using AutoTrail drawbar, a holder for the posi-
tion encoder (Fig. 116/1) must be fitted to the
tractor.
The holder must be made according to the actual
circumstances of the tractor with the sleeve with
locking screw (Fig. 116/2) and metal plate (Fig.
116/3) provided.
When installed, the position encoder must be
directly above the pivot point of the tractor pin
coupling
(Fig. 116/4).
•
Keep the distance between the coupling
point and position encoder (Fig. 117/ X) as
small as possible (particularly with the hitch
drawbar).
•
In neutral position with the machine cou-
pled, the rod of the position encoder must
be pulled approximately 100 mm out of the
holder.
If necessary, fasten the holder in an alterna-
tive position.
