On occasions that have high requirements on the radio disturbance prevention and that are consistent with the CE,
UL and CSA standards, or in the case that there is the equipment without the adequate anti-disturbance ability around
the frequency inverter, etc, the filter should be used. When the filter is installed, the connection lines should be as
short as possible, and the filter should approach the frequency inverter as possible. The filter earthing cannot be
connected with the thin long wire. Instead, the external shell of filter should be fixed directly on the back plate of the
metal case, where the surface coating has been removed. The surface-contacting earthing manner can reduce the
high-frequency earthing impedance, so the filter can play its due role to the largest extent.
7.2.3 Braking Unit and Braking resistor
Brake units are installed inside this series of frequency inverters (Type 3015GB and the below). When dynamic
braking is required, the user just has to connect the braking resistor. There are not brake units with the inverters of
3018G and the above. When the dynamic braking is required, the additional braking unit should be connected. The
braking unit consists of the control part, the driving part and the discharging resistance. The control part should be
adjusted according to the overvoltage protection action values for this series of frequency inverters. If the
discharging resistance part is provided with the overheating protection, it is suggested that the controlling connection
