Beginning the Installation
This chapter contains the procedure for installing the switch in a standard
19-inch equipment rack, with the brackets included with the unit.
Required Items
The following items are required to install the switch in an equipment rack:
Two equipment rack brackets (included with the switch)
Eight M4x6mm bracket screws (included with the switch)
Cross-head screwdriver (not provided)
Four standard equipment rack screws (not provided)

The switch has two sets of screw holes on the left and right sides, for the
standard brackets included with the switch and the optional AT-RKMT-
SL01 Sliding Rack Mount Kit. Figure 60 identifies the holes for the
standard brackets.

You can install the switch with its front panel flush with or extending in
front of the equipment rack. The illustrations in Figure 61 on page 97 show
the possible switch orientations in the equipment rack.
